Founded in 1880 by a small group of artists, this building has been declared a national historic-artistic monument, due to its great architectural value.
Our favourite part of the Círculo de Bellas Artes is Azotea del Círculo, the restaurant on the rooftop of the building, and a trendy and very popular spot with incredible views over Madrid. This stunning landscape goes from the city’s iconic Gran Vía below to the Sierra de Guadarrama mountain range. But let’s not forget about the food! Small tapas dishes and "raciones" designed by chef Manuel Berganza include Veal fricassee, Tuna tartare, Creamy boletus croquettes or Stuffed artichokes with "sobrassada" and honey.
